A Fun Science Field Trip

Today was a family fun day! We used our new memberships for the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. In the above picture, dh and the kids are running in the wheel (like hamsters) to make the water move. We saw a laser show done to Christmas music. The kids really enjoyed it. We also saw an IMAX film about Egyption mummies. That was REALLY cool since we've been studying ancient Egypt. Dd/6 kept commenting on how UGLY they were. LOL. It was neat to see the kids recognize certain things that we'd been studying. Later in the day, we enjoyed walking through the live butterfly museum. They are SO beautiful! There's so much to see and do, I'm glad we have membership cards so we can go back as often as we want. :^)
